Peanut Butter Sandwich

I spent a year in recovery after opting to take a medication that I was told was ‘safe and effective’. My heart, unfortunately, did not agree, and neither did my immune system. I always draw what inspires me, and sometimes, people forget that we are all different and that we all react differently to what we put in our bodies.

Some of us can eat peanut butter sandwiches, and others can’t. I drew this to hopefully open people’s eyes to the idea that not everyone has the same experiences and that mass generalisations are often very dangerous.
